Q: From what age do you accept children at the nursery school?
A: We accept children from 3 Months old up to Grade RR.
Q: Where is the Nursery School situated?
A: The Nursery School premises is currently at 98 Ruiter Road, Mokopane. Please note that we are moving to the Cnr of Maribashoek & Zebediela Drive in January 2025.
Q: Where is your Grade R Centre?
A: The Grade R Centre is at the Primary School premises on the corner of Maribashoek & Zebediela Drive. The entrance is opposite the SPCA.
Q: Where is the Primary School situated?
A: The Primary School is situated on the corner of Maribashoek & Zebediela Zebediela Drive. The main entrance is opposite Obaro.

Q: What about transport for my child?
A: Sunrise Superkids do not provide transport. Day Scholars have to arrange their own transport. Please call the offices for contact details of recommended transporters. Please note that they are independent contractors and do not work for Sunrise Superkids. Any further arrangements (including payment) must be made with the taxi drivers directly.
Q: What are the stationery requirements?
A: Please ensure that your child has enough stationery for his/her grade. You can download a list of the stationery requirements HERE.
Q: Where can I get Sunrise Superkids school uniform?
A: Sunrise Superkids Primary School uniform can be obtained from Bank Stores or Stands Stationery.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment if I want to visit the school?
A: Yes, in order not to interrupt classes, please phone the office to make an appointment if you want to consult your child’s teacher or caregiver. If you wish to consult with the Principals or one of the Directors, please call the office to make an appointment.
Q: What are the school hours?
A: Sunrise Superkids Primary School starts everyday from 07h45 to 12h45 for Grade 1&2; 07h45 to 13h15 for Grade 3; 07h45 to 13h45 for Grade 4 to 7. After-School starts at 14h30 until 16h00 Monday to Thursday.
Sunrise Superkids Nursery School starts at 07h00 until 13h00. Children can be fetched until 17h15 latest.
Q: What about school fees?
A: You can find more detail about our fees on our ‘Fees’ page or by clicking HERE. Please note that fees are payable in advance before the 7th of each month. Fees are payable January to December (December is half the amount).
Q: Do you have hostel?
A: Unfortunately we no longer have a hostel. You can contact the office on 015 491 3012 for contact details of other service providers in town.
Q: Do you have after-care programs?
A: Yes, we have remedial classes to assist learners who are struggling with certain subjects. We also after-school from Monday to Thursday supervised by teachers to assist with homework. Our after-care costs R600.00 per month and includes a balanced, cooked lunch. Click here to see the menu.
Q: Do you have intakes for Grade 7 learners?
A: Yes, but there may be conditions to consider. For example Afrikaans is a first additional language in our school, meaning that the child will have to pass the subject to progress to the next Grade.
Q: Do you admit learners in the middle of the year?
A: We prefer starting off with all learners in the beginning of the year to ensure all content is covered, but we do accept transfers from other schools if all documents like reports and transfer letters are provided.
Q: Do you have an emergency team to assist in cases of a child seeking medical attention?
A: We have a first aid committee, which has members of our staff that have been trained to assist with first aid. We call parents to take their children to the Doctor for more serious incidents or conditions.
Q: Do you only admit learners from Christian beliefs?
A: We are a Christian school but we do not discriminate against other beliefs/cultures. However we expect all learners to respect our Christian cultures even if they choose not to participate.
Q: What about safety?
A: We have a fence surrounding our premises with beams and alarm systems. We have CCTV cameras and a security guard from 06H00 to 18H00. The school is protected by Suricat, an armed response company.
